ABOUT US
We Are Arocha KNUST
Emerging as the student chapter of Eden conservation, in the 1990s, the conservation group was positioned in the Faculty of Renewable Natural Resources to uniquely meet its students’ practical aspects of their learning. Our name changed to Arocha KNUST when Eden Conservation as our mother purposefully merged with and adopted the name Arocha (which means ‘The Rock’ in Portuguese).
Together we have and still care for God’s creation. We are one of the vibrant youth wings of the main A Rocha International family. We work from Ghana’s best university, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. As the university’s lead youth organization for the environment, we give students the needed capacity to play their unique roles as a contribution to the worldwide environmental call. This sums up a collective youth effort to always care for Mother Earth’s resources.
